How To Enable / Disable Clipboard History in Windows 10

Managing copied text efficiently can enhance your productivity, whether you're working on multiple projects or just need quick access to previous clipboard entries. Windows 10 offers a built-in clipboard history feature that lets you keep track of copied items with ease.

To enable or disable clipboard history, open Settings by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Settings, or press Windows key + I. Navigate to System, then click Clipboard.

From here, simply toggle Clipboard History on or off. When enabled, press Windows key + V to view and paste from your clipboard history — you can even pin frequently used items for quick access.

If you're signed in with a Microsoft account, you can enable clipboard syncing across devices. This allows you to automatically sync copied text or manually select what gets shared between devices.
